This is a fansite and has no official affiliation with Mr. Bloom and/or his management - this is an unofficial website. Any commission recieved from visitors purchacing merchandise goes directly into the site; specifically, covering the monthly bills for the web server host of this site.

This website was launched December 28, 2001 and is designed and maintained by one individual. The site was initially named Orlando Bloom Online, but quickly switched to Orlando Bloom Central as an afterthought.

For technical specs, the site was created using hand-coded HTML, CSS, and PHP. Graphics were created with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Content is uploaded with Fetch. The research and maintenance of the site comes from drinking a lot of caffeine, utilizing the majority of free time, and many, many hours of sleep loss.

If you have a website, please do not steal original content mentioned above without permission; a lot of hard work went into the research. Thank you.

Previous Layout Versions

Current Version
This layout was created December of 2006, but because of a serious lack of time due to college and jobs, it was not launched until May of 2007. I was looking for a crisper look for the site, while still keeping the bright colors that has really defined OBC over the past five years.
Version Six
As OBC passed its 3-year mark, this layout was created over winter break from school and launched in January 2005. The soft-edged orange scheme is still the main features like the previous layout, but the menubar returns from the fourth version (see below). Additionally, the layout was constructed so that I could easily rotate a different image of Orlando on the top.
Version Five
Early July 2003, the webhost for the website went insane, which literally led to weeks of website downtime. During this long waiting period, I completely redesigned the website and went for a softer look, as opposed to the hard-edged layout of the previous version.
Version Four
In celebration of the site's one-year anniversary and The Two Towers release, this new layout was launched. A different navigation system was implemented, but orange remains the "official" site color. Additionally, the site itself moved to its own domain, orlandocentral.net.
Version Three
Spring break from school always means celebration! The previous layout was getting a bit old, and something brighter was needed. For an interesting effect, the main page featured not a regular Orlando image, but a manipulated one (fans of Keanu Reeves will recognize the photo!).
Version Two
This layout was initially intended for a Tom Cruise website. However, that site never got around finishing, so it was pulled out some months later for this site. The site's name changed from Orlando Bloom Online to Orlando Bloom Central after a few days the layout was released.
Version One
Not many people ever got to see this layout - it was featured for about two days, and at that time, the site was named Orlando Bloom Online. The orange/fire scheme was pleasing to the eye, but it took a ridiculous amount of time to load!
