Australian Intl. Movie Convention: The Kelly Gang

There is a little news bit from DarkHorizons.com on the upcoming Kelly Gang film that Orlando is in:

UIP also had the first footage ever from the upcoming major biopic on bushranger Ned Kelly. Execs didn't want the character to have a beard but that would destroy the accuracy so it looks like a compromise was made, Heath sported the beard half the time whilst the other half - well it wasn't clean shaven but very darn close to it (just some light bum fluff). Orlando Bloom and Naomi Watts look convincingly dressed in period piece costume, Rachel Griffiths makes a cameo and looks to get it on with Bloom (apparently that happens a lot to him in Australia), but its Geoffrey Rush who steals the show as the head of the police force assigned to track Ned down. He addresses his men from what looks like a garroting platform with a stirring speech. No helmet was seen put on in the clip sadly for those enthusiasts wondering.
