Fan report: "Pirates" premiere
posted on June 30, 2003  Maureen writes: I saw Orlando at Disneyland this weekend for the premiere of "Pirates of the Caribbean." This guy is amazing, his entourage directed him to take the shortcut but the crowd shout their disappointment, so Mr. Bloom came back all smile, sign some autographs and take pictures. He really cares for his fans. Oh yeah, he looks HELLA GOOD, with his long curly hair and goatie. TV Watch: "Pirates" specials posted on June 30, 2003 Allison writes: E! News Live had a segment today on "Pirates of the Caribbean." Orlando was on it and he was also on Entertainment Tonight as well as Access Hollywood. He mentioned he was jet legged after flying in from the Troy shooting and said that Troy is going to be epic! One of the reporters told Orlando that he saw fans crying and waiting a long time to see him and he asked Orlando if he would go over there. Orlando went to the screaming fans, signed autographs and took pictures with them. Orlando asked the reporter if he knew anyone that knew how to deal with all the fans because he'd love to talk to them. Orlando and Johnny Depp are scheduled to be present on Wedndesday, July 2nd. There's a picture of Orlando with Johnny Depp, but it's the one we've seen a million times. The contest is to come up with a humorous line or lines on what may be going on in a scene from Ned Kelly (and for those who have seen the movie, try to ignore what really was happening!). MTV Movie Awards: The Two Towers posted on June 1, 2003 "The Two Towers" grabbed four awards at the 2003 MTV Movie Awards, including Best Movie! The other categories won were Best Action Sequence, Best On-Screen Team (Elijah Wood, Sean Astin and Gollum), and Best Digital Performance (Gollum).
