Fan Reviews of The Two Towers

Have you seen The Two Towers? Send in your thoughts!

From Amanda:

The movie was excellent! I've seen it twice already and each time it gets better. There is tons more action and tons more Legolas. I also started to like Aragorn but Legolas is still my favorite. There was also a lot of humor especially with Gimli and Gollum. I thought the character Gollum was awesome. They did a very very good job on him. This film was definantly darker and more scary. The special effects were outstanding especially in the battle at Helm's Deep. This movie was beyond one of the best films i have ever seen and im sure once the return of the king comes out and i have seen all 3 the full effect will come and it will be known as one of the best films ever made because it truly deserves it. My props go to everyone involved in the movie especially Orlando :) because he did an excellent job. I think Peter Jackson should get an award for this. Anyone and everyone should go see it.

From Autumn:

I loved this movie! All of you saying 'I saw it two whole times' are amateurs. I saw it seven times. It is so amazing that I honestly cannot describe it. I think the music really put it together, I really liked the violin at Rohan. But, of course, the best part was Legolas. He has been my favorite character since I first read it at age nine :-) . The battles were amazing, and it was very funny. This is definitely the best movie out of all of them.

From Nibinyuldaien:

I went to go see The Two Towers last Friday (27) and I loved. But when the battle of Helm's Deep came and all the Elves started to get killed, I started to cry because I am a really big fan of elves :) I definitely went to see Legolas and Haldir who is like the commander of the Naith Elven Warriors, well anywho when Haldir got killed I just was so surprised. I had kinda gotten attached to him in the first movie. But also some of my fav. parts were when Aragorn & Gimli went out a side door next to the main door that had all the Uruk-Hai battering the gate, Well Gimli says "Toss me" and Aragorn replies "What?" "Toss me, It's to far for me to jump, you'll have to toss me. Don't tell the Elf". But over all the Movie was fantastic I would definitely see it again...But next time I'll bring tissues. I give The Two Towers ten thumbs up...if I had that many. :)

From Emma:

After watching the Lord of the Rings two times (the first two days it was out) I walked out utterly speechless. It's hard to describe such a movie! It covered all aspects of a good movie, including action, horror, drama, romance, and humor! Legolas, of course, was phoenominal, which kind of had to do with the fact that, in The Two Towers, he's actually a main character! He and Gimli were both tear-jerkingly hilarious, and it almost seemed empty without them! (But not really ^_^) The whole of the Fellowship was brilliant, as well as the new recruits (Eowyn, Theoden, Faramir, Eomer...) You can really see the Ring taking over Frodo in this movie...OH! And Gollum! Man, Gollum was spectacular!! Andy Serkis was wonderful! But anyways, I'd better stop boring you, and let you see for yourself. Expect tears of sadness, anger, and laughter!!

From Savannah:

I went to see TTT with a friend of mine who LOVES Elijah Wood! But i only went to see Legolas(Orlando Bloom) since he is sooooo cute! But the best thing about the second movie was that it had a lot more action and it was heaps funny! Like the part that Ashley said when Legolas and the dwarf were waiting on the walls of Helm's Deep for the Orcs and Urukhai's to attack, and the dwarf being so small you could only see the top of his helmet behind the wall while everyone who is taller than him like Legolas could see everything. That was funny but at first i couldn't see what everyone was laughing at until i saw the helmet and the dwarf behind the wall. It had alot more action in it,like the war and the dog like creatures landing on the dwarf. And it was alot scarier!!! I LOVED THE MOVIE!! and i hope everyone agree's with me.

From Ashley:

I went to watch TTT two times. To me, The Two Towers has got to be the best, ABSOLUTE BEST, out of the first two movies. Why? Well, one of the main reasons is because Legolas has a bigger part in the story and he has a lot more to say! It's also a lot funnier. For example: Legolas and Gimli are standing at the walls of Helm's Deep waiting for the Uruk-hai's and orcs to attack. Because of Gimli's short height, he says: "What's happening down there?!" Legolas answers with a smile, "Would you like me to describe it to you, or shall I find you a box?" That's just a taste of the humour in Part two of the trilogy! Now, I'm starting to like Aragorn too! (But, Legolas will always be first! Hehe.) Aragorn and Arwen's love story is very sad. That's one of the things that adds up to be a excellent movie. And, one part I really like is when Legolas flips onto his horse, or when he "surfs" down the stairs. Well, too much info already! Anyways, you should really check it out! I swear, you'll feel like watching it again and again...and again...and again......

From Jackie Aquino:

Before I saw the first instalment of Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring, my sister told me to read the book first before seeing the movie and I did read the book and I said to myself that's it what happened when the fellowship was broken up and my sister said then you should read the second part of the book and I said to her their is a second part of the book and she said yes and I read the second part of the book and I could not imagine how the ents in the book looks like and when I heard that they are gonna make a movie of lord of the rings I told my sister we should see the movie and yesterday we saw Lord of The Rings The Two Towers finally I'm gonna see my two favourite characters in the movie Legolas The Elf and Aragorn The Mortal, but my favourite character in the movie is Legolas The Elf not because Orlando Bloom is Legolas but he had that keen eyes and he is good with his bow and arrow I have the picture of Legolas in my room and also I like Orlando Bloom he is so cute and hot.

From Sarah West:

Okay..i saw the movie 2 times yesterday, once at 11 AM and another at 5:30 PM and the more i saw the better it was. The best part was Orlando had a major role in this movie. Although the movie was very violent it totally kicked @$$. I have two new favorite charecters now, Legolas and Gollem/Smeagol. Gollum was hilarious, he sang this song while he was swimming in the forbidden pool, and it was so funny it went like this: swimming in the forbidden pool...so nice and cool....catch a fish....so sweet and juicy! and he also had lines like "You Stupid Fat Hobbit", and he talked to himself. He put so much humour into the movie. OMG and the best part was that i swear i saw Orlando at the cinema. I was with five of my friends, and we wrote on our faces LEGOLAS, and also the number 9 in elvish, and this really good looking guy was staring at all of us. And giggling, and then, everytime Legolas came on screen he acted embarrased, and all his friends were pointing at the guy and laughing at him. I was like, "DANG THAT GUY LOOKS LIKE ORLANDO", he had a go-tee and was wearing a hat. All my friends were like "go tell him he looks like orlando and have him sign your picture of Orli you have, just tell him to sign the name Orlando". I was like "nooo i can't do that." That was like the highlight of my day, cuz i swear i saw him, and so do all of my friends. But the movie is awesome...and in this one scene with Aragorn in it, well Aragorn walks through these doors, and that like turned all of us on, we were like hey! Oh Yes, and Legolas gets on this horse, and like does this flip, and everyone in the cinema theatre was like wow! Oh and one of my favorite parts is when they are all at Helms Deep and the big climax of the movie is coming up with all the Uruk-Hai and Orcs. Well anyways Gimli since he is so short, cos he is a dwarf and the wall in front of him is taller than he is, hes all like "I can't see anything" well Legolas then says to him "Would you like me to describe it to you, or shall i find you a box". The movie was excellent, but i think children under 10 shan't see it, it was very very violent, but it also kicked major ass. So there is my review YOU MUST SEE THIS MOVIE. CHEERS!

From Jessika:

Hy my name is Jessika Morris! i am obsessed w/ Lord Of the Rings! yes i have seen The Two Towers! iT iS AWESOME i say its 7X better then the first one!!! AND LEGOLAS iS HOTTER THEN EVER OF COURSE!!!! if you haven't seen it then you gotta go soon b/c you don't know what you're missing!!!!!!

From Em:

The Lord of the Rings was very cool. I thought that Mr. Bloom did a very fine job at being Legolas the Elf. And, I think that he should be Legolas for the rest of his life! He is that convincing. I read the books and Orlando belongs in Middle Earth! Or the Havens across the sea if you know what I mean! If you don't then read the books, kay! See dat movie and get my drift! Peace on Earth good will to men and elves and dwarves and hobbits and okay I'll stop, that's great! I suggest this movie and also, suggest going to New Zealand, cause it's really beautiful this time of year with Mr. Bloom hanging around! Shout a holla to him if you see him! Well, that be it and koodos to yall Bloomers!

From Elizabeth:

I saw the 12:01 showing last night (this morning really) I thought that it was good, but not as good as the first one. The funny parts were funny, but they were also slightly too obvious. The shield surfing thing was cool, but kinda out of place. These were my thoughts as I left the theater, then at school today, I was thinking about it more, and I'm like, "Wait, I liked all these different parts, and I want to see it again, like right away." So now it's grown on me. The first movie did the same thing, (of course with the help of Orlando Bloom)

From Jessica Lugo:

To even try to explain my feelings on this movie is like trying to explain a wonderful dream... both confusing, and magnificent. From the moment I heard the first note come out of the speakers my heart was pounding in my chest. My eyes, were wide open in every scene... I enjoyed the whole movie and I can't wait for the third. Orlando did such a wonderful job as did all the other actors. I laughed and cried. This movie is and always will be a masterpiece. If I ever meet Peter Jackson, I would bow down and kiss his feet. Lol... Awesome awesome awesome...

From Rushina Wyatt:

I went to the LOTR/TTT movie tonight and it was so good. I was a little sleepy but that was only because I was setting on a hard floor for an hour to get ino the midnight showing at the regal cinemas! The line was all the way out of the door for what I could see. But hay it was warth it It was 3hrs long an I just got home like at four. Anyway I got to go I'm going to see it again in about nine hours. Yeah it was that good, and it was also very funny - well Legolas and the oters where even the Ent's where cool. I've got to go I hope you enjoy the movie like I did because it really is a great movie.

From Heather (a.k.a. Legolas' girl):

Oh my goodness!!! I was gonna post this last night but i was too tired. I went to see the first show for The Two Towers last night, and it was unreal!!! I got home from the theater at 4:00 in the morning and just couldn't sleep, thoughts of Legolas were on my mind. This movie is absolutely amazing everyone, i give it a hundred million stars. It was so cool too because when we first got there, a line up had begun to form and when they finally let us in at 11:30 everyone was so hyped!!! It is truly fantastic. i don't want to give anything away but if anyone wants to know more, head on over to the forum to read my post about it. i told a few bits and pieces!!!Go to general discussion and you'll find my post. all i can say is that Legolas looked even better in this one than the first and he has more lines in the first three minutes of the movie than he does in the entire fellowship movie!!!
